One of Canada's first paperless advisors and an early pioneer of non-face-to-face insurance sales — back in 2006, when most advisors still required an in-person signature, I was selling life insurance entirely through my website, building a book of thousands of clients without ever meeting them in person. With three advisors, two admins, and a practice built on technology, I needed a CRM that simply didn't exist. So we built one. Every advisor who touched it said the same thing: it changed the way they worked.
When we sold that block in 2019, the buyer had one condition: the CRM comes with it. He wanted the software as much as the clients.
Four years ago I returned to the life insurance industry and again needed to create a CRM for our office. But I had a wish list: texting clients from my desktop, professional proposals instead of clunky 1980s printouts, call transcripts with automatic summaries and task lists pulled from every conversation.
In 2026, BadenAI was born. Twenty years of real-world use, now available to you for the first time.
The advisor who bought our block in 2019 became our first AgencyCRM client.

Where we are
BadenAI is based in New Hamburg, Ontario — a small town about an hour west of Toronto. We operate as a Canadian company, serving Canadian life insurance advisors, built to meet Canadian privacy and compliance requirements.
All data is stored and processed in Canada. No data is sold or shared with third parties. Our AI product uses Claude with a Zero Data Retention agreement — your client information is never used to train AI models.
